Unless you are primarily orientated to studio photography the majority of photographs are opportunistic. Yet it is not just being in the right place at the right time, as was the previous post, but also ‘seeing’ what is in front of you and imagining the potential for creating an image. When I did my LRPS assessment a common comment by the judges on those of us who passed was ‘good seeing’. In the case of this image it was captured overlooking the beautiful Tyrhhenian Sea. It took just a touch in photoshop to create what my imagination saw.
